Okay maybe it's not as much upcoming as it's just in limbo. Still, unless one of the major players can't be in it, I'll never give up on the fifth installment of one of my absolute favorite series. Any other Phans out there not willing to let this one go? "It's never over."

Angus is pretty old now. I am not sure if he could do it.

In Angus's defense, he's still been an active actor the past decade. The last thing I saw him in was Incident On and Off a Mountain Road from the Masters of Horror series. He still seemed very spry in that as he played a crazy old coot. He is 83 and still making appearances at horror conventions. What a guy! Rory Guy that is! I'm just hoping that at the Phantasm reunion at Flashback Weekend Don and Company will make an announcement. ;)I know I'm setting myself up for major disappointment if they don't but I'm ever the optimist.

If they make that announcement, you'd better get your ass to a pooter and let us know, dammit! The Phantasm series is certainly one of my faves, and though I really liked OblIVion as an interesting way to wrap things up, if need be, I would love to see Coscarelli's series go out on a huge BANG, which it richly deserves. Angus is getting on, but you're right - the guy seemed energetic still in Coscarelli's Masters of Horror segment, and he's more than willing...so let's just keep our spheres crossed, BOOOOOY! *hangs head in shame* Sorry, I couldn't resist...
