I watched this tonight and WOW! The Coen Bros strike again. What a fuckin flick, great performances all round, there's not much of a plot to speak of but the power of the film lies in it's performances, particularly Javier Bardem as a totally soulless, heartless fuckin lunatic. I can't recommend this film enough. If ya ain't seen it, do so. 10/10

I love it. Bardem is great, but no one ever talks about how awesome Tommy Lee Jones. TLJ is the fucking man.

True, he is awesome. But I think everyone knows how awesome he is, Bardem is new to me personally and I thought he was one of the greatest screen psychos ever.

I enjoyed it, too. I went into viewing No Country for Old Men expecting nothing special (from the rest of the cast) and I was very pleasantly surprised. And, in all honesty, the only reason I started out watching it was because of Tommy Lee Jones. He is one of my very favorite actors (ever since I saw him "The Eyes of Laura Mars"). But yes, I agree with you. It is an excellent movie. 9/10

i wouldn't go see it in the theater because their movies have been REMARKABLY disappointing as of late.. so i wasn't taking chances again.. having to watch something on someone elses time isn't something i do lightly (although i go to the movies a lot)..
made the mistake of buying it the day it came out, all excited to finally see it.. completely disappointed.. it wasn't a bad movie at all but it was nothing close to what everyone was selling it as..
not even one of the five best movies they've done..
