The worst zombie/infected movie I have seen is days of darkness. They spent their entire budget on one effect IMO.

Oasis of the Zombies was the worst I've seen, although I hear Zombie Lake is quite bad, too.

Hard Rock Zombie is one of my favorite horror/comedies, but it's very badly done. I think the worst I've seen is I Am Omega, which is The Asylum's answer to I Am Legend.

Have they not been sued yet? Everything they do is a rip off of something else.

I guess it's legal. It's just a ripoff. They don't really say anything about the movie they're ripping, so it could be just a ripoff. Like The Hitchhiker.

How are we defining "worst"? Because there are some bloody awful movies out there that I just can't help but like even though they're utter crap...haha
Okay, well I'll go for "worst" as being one that I wouldn't watch again if you paid me: The Beyond. Utterly mind-numbing crap that went from one turgid cliche to the next in its barebones plot, badly acted and its only saving grace were some of the effects, but that alone just doesn't do it for me.

Even if he's my favorite director, it has to be Jess Franco's French version of Oasis of the Zombies. Totally awful. The Spanish version is sightly better, mostly because Lina Romay appears to get killed at some point. And that's always a plus Zombie Lake ain't that bad, I mean, it's a totally laughable movie in it's awfulness.

Zombie Nation hands down. Amen, brother. I just sat there, slack jawed and numb while watching that piece of shit. What was up with that random Fight Club in the vacant warehouse scene?

From that site: Jonathon Ash at his best
This movie will marked the start of Jonathon Ash's greatest period.
If you have never seen this movie ... you SIMPLY must ... in my opinion (and many others) it is one of The best indie horror movies EVER ... FACT! ... and genuinely FRIGHTENING
They don't make them like this anymore ... that's for sure !
This movie recalls the era when films really were SCARY !
The most realistic zombie movie ever made ! Somebody's lying. ;D

Yeah let me give you some highlights. 15 minute POV walkthrough of an empty parking garage. Guy walking through the park for 20 minutes. Guy in a rubber zombie mask shambling around for 10 minutes 10 minutes of kitten rolling in the grass. And yet I don't think there is one point in the movie where more than one "character" appears on the screen at the same time. Only one "actor" shows his face in the movie. Another wears a ski mask, a third the zombie mask. The fourth is the kitten.

i've seen most in the thread and none of them were quite as bad as 'zombie night'.. i mean, i love it, but it is amazing... ly bad (thanks, kage)..
one scene actually has a DIFFERENT actor playing the same role another actor was JUST playing.. and then switches BACK TO THE OTHER ACTOR.. insane.. it looks as if they shot the donwstairs scene and realized they never shot what happens to the guy who went back outside.. absolutely inept filmmaking.. and it is just one of many many horrible moments..
i really want to watch it again now.. after 'live feed', its on!

"The Video Dead" would have to be the worst zombie film in my opinion. Really? You've not seen worse? Whoa! Yeah that's a shocker to hear. Surely the movie is cheesy and has horrible acting but I think even the hardest film critic would admit the movie has it's charm. Not only is THE VIDEO DEAD one of my favorite zombie films, it's also one of my favorite low-budget horror movie's in general! In fact I even had a custom shirt made as a tribute to this Video Store classic!!Oh and yes, I know i'm a nerd ha ha!
