This is partly inspired by the IMDb posts.
I was wondering what Australian horror films people have seen, and more importantly, whether they liked them. I'm a bit biased because I'm Australian myself, but it'd be interesting to know how the world views our meager contribution to the horror film history books. Anyway, I've seen:
Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) Thirst (1979) Body Melt (1993) Undead (2003) Razorback (1984) Inn of the Damned (1975) Cut (2000) Long Weekend (1978) Night of Fear (1972) Wolf Creek (2005) The Plumber (1979) Dark City (1998) Rogue (2007) Lost Things (2003) The Cars That Ate Paris (1974) Does Howling III (1987) count?
I'm sure I've forgotten a lot but I'll update if I remember. Here's a list I really need to see:
Turkey Shoot (1982) Patrick (1978) Roadgames (1981) Houseboat Horror (1989) (looks funny)
^Anyone seen any of those an could give me an opinion?
Anyway, what Aussie Horror have you seen? What was your fav?

Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) I liked this. I was actually surprised that I did like it. 8/10 Body Melt (1993) Hated it. It was just too damn weird and too damn boring. I was really expecting to like this one. 4/10 Undead (2003) Love it. It's like a good version of Plan 9 From Outer Space. Fucking quad shotgun! 7/10 Wolf Creek (2005) Bollocks! The Cars That Ate Paris (1974) I didn't get it. I liked some of the ideas, but for the most part it was just boring. 5/10 Patrick (1978) I liked it but it was waaaay too long. I think they could cut about 30 minutes out of it and make it really great. It's defo worth checking out. And the lead actress is beautiful! 6/10 Also, you might wanna check out the made for tv movie Fortress (1986). www.imdb.com/title/tt0091069/ I dug it alot.

Haven't seen much Aussie horror. Sorry. Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) - I just couldn't get into this flick. The thing just dragged on without any real suspense. Wolf Creek (2005) - Even though the first half is as slow as Picnic..., I enjoyed it. There's a pervasive uneasiness about the first part of the movie, and once things get going in the second half it's a great ride.

Does Night of Horror have another title? It's the only one named I haven't seen... and I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere... (I keep finding a different Night of Horror... that I have seen and wouldn't inflict on anyone else)
