I watched Salò last night, and it made me curious about other works by Pier Paolo Pasolini. I'm not familiar with any of his other films, so does anyone have some recs?

What did you think of 'Salo'?
I really need to investigate Pasolini further, I've only seen a few of his films. He's one of those artists that, like Bergman, Bunuel etc, deal with the heaviest of themes and subjects and are consequentially not easy to get into.
I really enjoyed 'Hawks and Sparrows', a surreal and philosophical satire concerning a father and son who, whilst walking through the countryside, chance upon a talking crow...
Also 'Teorema', starring Terence Stamp, which is about the breaking down of sexual barriers within a bourgeios household.

I thought it was really quite incredible. I quickly grew to despise the vile libertines, and it was a succession of gut-punches after that. Between the cold, distanced cinematography and the disgusting content itself, it's one of those movies that I respect greatly but won't be watching again anytime soon. Thanks for the other recs.

Salo was both boring and marginally funny.
