I know there's a TV & Video Games section, but I thought that this thread could fit in here as well. After all, it's a horror show that really consists of short weekly films. Did anyone else think the twist they used was extremely obvious? I knew it was going to happen less than halfway through the episode. The use of the word "person" in the note made it pretty obvious as well. What really pissed me off was the way the episode was written though. Why would the girl be so nervous and scared of her husband when alone? I can understand if she were putting a show on in front of others, but I hate when they use that twist (the killer is who we least expect) and the character remains the same when by him or herself. Anybody else have any thoughts on this?

Yeah, it was fucking horrible. I bet this will be the worst episode of the entire season. This episode had nothing going for it. It was just horrible on almost every level. 2/10
And the reason why they did the whole "wife afraid of the husband" thing was to play it off to the viewers so they wouldn't expect the twist.

Exactly my thinking. I fucking hate it when they do that. Sure, it might make it a little more unexpected (which wasn't the case at all), but it doesn't make a bit of sense. I saw it coming from a mile away and it was just insulting.

What do you think of all the episodes so far? A lot of people hate the first one, but I enjoyed it. The second one was pretty mediocre and the third one has been my favorite. While, this one (the fourth episode) has been my least favorite and I'm sure it will always be lol. It was so incredibly awful.

You know, I haven't watched a single episode yet? I'm pathetic. Although last night at 8, I can proudly say that I was re-watching Taxi Driver.

You know, I haven't watched a single episode yet? I'm pathetic. It gets a lot of hate, but it really isn't that bad at all. The thing I like about most of the episodes is that it has some story in it. My favorite episode was the one directed by Ronny Yu "Family Man".

The show has really exceeded my expectations. I don't know if that's saying much though, since I really expected a huge pile of shit. The first two episodes were decent enough, nothing special. I agree with shadowslasher that the third has definitely been the best so far. The last one was terribly disappointing, since I thought the story had a lot of potential. Not to mention the fact the John Landis was directing. I'm really looking to the next one though. Stuart Gordon is one of my favorite directors and I enjoy almost anything he puts out.

Did you watch last night's episode (The Eater)? I thought it was a little dull and kind of laughable. The effects were good and I'll give it that. But it wasn't one of my favorites. I thought it was mediocre, 6/10.

Ugh, it was such a disappointment. Stuart Gordon is one of my favorite directors so I'm really pissed about it. There were so many flaws with that episode that I don't even know where to begin. For one, why is it that every body the Eater goes into seems normal at first, but then their teeth change when they reveal that it's actually the Eater? And why the hell do the people keep their personalities, but become cannibalistic serial killers? It's almost like they were themselves, but just inherited some kind of trait. It didn't make sense at all. I thought the episode would have been much better if it just played out with the tall Eater just killing off the cops, without all that voodoo bullshit. The episode played out like a bad version of Fallen with Denzel Washington. I can't believe Gordon churned out an episode so mediocre.

I just came back from Orlando and set a recording for the new episode "New Year's Day". I watched it last night and loved it! Besides a few annoying quick-cuts editing, I thought it was very enjoyable and entertaining! My favorite episode so far. 9/10
What did you think of it?

Besides a few annoying quick-cuts editing, I thought it was very enjoyable and entertaining! My favorite episode so far. 9/10 What did you think of it? Personally, I think it might have been the worst episode yet. There was nothing special about it and the acting was poor. It seemed like a paint-by-numbers zombie movie with a terrible twist thrown on at the end by Darren Lynn Bousman that reeked of the Saw franchise. He did that whole thing where he flashes back and shows you hints that he gave you to the twist earlier in the episode. My opinions of the show keep dropping every week. Bring back Masters of Horror!

Ah, that's too bad. Thinking back on it, I take the 9/10 back and give it an 8/10. The editing annoyed me but I still liked it.
Next week's episode looks good (little that they showed). And I loved American Psycho.
I haven't seen any Masters of Horror episodes lol.

What did you think of Community? I was disappointed. I found it to be very mediocre, 6/10.

What did you think of Community? I was disappointed. I found it to be very mediocre, 6/10. I thought it was one of the better episodes of the series. I'd put it at number 2 behind Ronny Yu's episode. Maybe it's the fact that I've been so disgusted with the past few episodes, but I thought this one was really interesting and had an intriguing premise.

Community is the only one I've seen and I thought it was a blatant rip-off of the equally as crappy, The Colony (1995).
The plot seemed identical to me. So much so that they each had the (I can't take it anymore) neighbor that freaked out at a party. I still plan to check out more episodes.

Did you see the latest one Skin & Bones? It premiered last week, but I watched it recently and thought it was absolutely terrible. A damn near second place for the worst episode thus far. But nothing can be worse than the In Sickness episode, although it is VERY close.

I still haven't watched it, even though I have about 3 episodes on the DVR. I haven't heard anyone talk about it for a few weeks. I thought maybe the season had ended already.

I missed the last three episodes as well. I just kind of gave up going out of my way to watch it weekly since the episodes have been mediocre at best lately. I'll probably wait until they come out with a complete series DVD. You know they'll probably cancel it after the first season anyway.

I think they already did, due to the Olympics You only missed one episode, and that was the dreadful "Skin & Bones". And like I said, it's probably due to the Olympics that no other episodes have premiered yet

I watched one episode of this; it was about a cannibal in the police lock up. It was pretty good. Stupid ending, but good over all.

They're probably intentionally letting the series go just so they don't have the show the last few episodes. This way, they can make everyone rent/buy the DVD's when they come out to watch the unaired episodes.
