What happened(Excuse the pun) I was really looking forward to seeing this, the trailers looked fantastic, and I have nothing against M Night,I enjoyed 'The Village'(Though I found the twist blindingly obvious),and couldnt wait to see this. I went last night. At first the screen wasnt set up properly, lol,so you could see the mics above the heads in the classroom scene, but soon that was sorted, and it was fine.It seemed to be getting off to an alright start. And then it got bad...I mean, seriously, who made Mark Walberg not be able to act?Because from what I remember he can,and suddenly he's as wooden as an old fashioned tent peg,and causing people to laugh innapropriately at things that arent supposed to be funny, because he makes them sound silly. I mean, what the hell. The script was pretty damn terrible, and that thing about the hotdogs was just, well, painful. It wasnt all bad, when it was good,it was REALLY good, some parts were really excellent, and scary and sinister, but some of it was just plain shite. And badly acted, and written, and with a moral message at the end..please,I like my entertainment without a side order of piosity and righteousness. All in all it was a pretty good film turned bad.I was disappointed, and a little bit saddened,I was expecting more. Grr on you M.Night for getting my hopes up.

Mr. Shattered will tell you it's supposed to be unintentionally funny. I still haven't seen it myself, but the mixed reviews have turned off any inkling I had to see it.

Ah right...because it had kind of that Life Aquatic feeling going on,where things are funny, but not at the same time,in a tragic way..so unintentionally funny is good, lol.
