I really enjoyed this, but I'm a sucker for this type of film. Virginia Madsen still ain't too bad, even nearly 15 years after Candyman.
What did you peeps think?

I thoroughly enjoyed The Number 23, mainly because of Jim Carrey's performance (Virginia Madsen and the supporting cast members also delivered superb performances). I thought the story was original and well written. In short, The Number 23 is one movie that I won't mind watching over and over.

Enjoyed it,I prefer Jim Carrey as a serious actor as opposed to being a fucking annoying comedian, because most of his 'silly' faces make things unbearable to watch....his talent is so wasted on comedy.

Not very memorable, a bit too slick and insincere for my liking, not really engaging or beliveable in my opinion, passed the time but a forgettable hollywood horror cash in.
Much prefer Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind! thats superb and again Carrey at his best.

Not including "Shark Swarm" (starring John Schneider) The Number 23 is the worst movie I've seen in recent memory. IMO, of course.
The whole 23 phenomenon was started by The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. I'm a huge fan of the book. I didn't expect the movie to be anything like it but it was still an awful dissapointment for me.

It's alright. Not as horrible as it's made out to be, but it's not a movie I'd watch a lot.

I didn't like this one. I thought it started out well, but the rest of the execution was just....blah for me. I liked Virginia Madsen, though.
