... The X-Files: I Want to Believe? I am a huge X-Files fan so I am definitely looking forward to this latest installment. Anyone else?

I never saw the first film.
But of the series, I was a fan. Mostly of their non-alien episodes. Like that one where a guy went around eating people's liver and they killed him by escalator.

Yeah, that was a good one. I also liked the werewolf and vampire episodes as well as the ones that really messed with my mind (snake ritual). Given my state of mind, though, would you expect any less? ;D

I'm kinda mixed on this one, just not sure how well it will play so many years after the show's demise and where it fits into the mythos.
I loved the TV show, it was THE show for people like me when it came out when I was about 13 or so, so there's a lot of nostalgia for me. I think it was at it's best in the earlier seasons and when on those bizarre one-off incidents (Tooms has already been mentioned as a standout), and although I loved all the alien conspiracy stuff I think as that story was fleshed-out and got more and more airtime it became convoluted and schlocky, so by the time the first movie came out I was kinda ambivalent about its revelations. Then Fox did what they usually do with a winning formula (like with The Simpsons) and kept flogging that dead donkey until it was ridden into the ground, rather than letting it have a timely and fitting end while it was still retained some of that earlier blaze of glory.
