Posted on imdb (where I don't think it will be read, what's with all the Twilight Zone: The Movie threads?), but I figured I'd put it here also. Dan Carmody (whose currently producing All Saints Day, the sequel to Boondock Saints) is (according to a few sites I've seen... all of which link to Screen Daily, so I only got the one source) negotiating with Raimi for screen rights for Evil Dead: The Musical... in 3-D. Personally I really don't want to see this. I enjoyed the musical... but no version I've seen of it really worked (it doesn't stand on its own and relies on knowledge of the movies too much to be good). I know several on here have seen the play or atleast heard the Off Broadway Cast Recording so what do you guys think? Should it remain on the stage or are you fully embracing its attempted jump to the screen? www.screendaily.com/ScreenDailyArticle.aspx?intStoryID=40652&am p;Category=3
